Office in Woodside Queens looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our company. The Customer Service Rep plays an important role in the company as our customers’ first point of contact when answering phone calls and greeting visitors. You will be responsible for processing orders including entering, checking, and following up on orders, as well as handling customer inquiries and requests. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills delivering great customer service with a service-minded, solution-oriented, and forward-thinking mentality while being professional and courteous. As a Customer Service Rep, you are a people person who likes to connect with others and build relationships. You can work effectively independently but you are also a team player working collectively with colleagues. Previous customer service or sales experience is a plus, but we will provide training as well.
Responsibilities
• Process orders – entering, checking, and following up on orders
• Support sales activities, providing quotes, pricing, availability, and delivery time
• Handle and resolve customer requests and inquiries including problems with order or deliveries
• Understand customer needs and requirements to make new product recommendations
• Keep updated on product knowledge, applications, and new releases
• Collaborate between departments to expediate processing and handling of orders
• Other duties as assigned
