Experience: >10 years accounting experience, hotel industry experience preferred
Skills Required: The individual must be a self motivated leader possessing the following qualities:
• Detailed knowledge of hotel costing
• Attention to detail in analysis to be able to identify areas for growth and development
• Management and leadership skills
• Strong business acumen
• Comprehensive knowledge over hotel operational accounting
• Strong understanding of trial balance account relationships
Job Description: The Corporate Controller will be responsible for the following:
• Oversee hotel staff accountants to provide support and clarity over policies and procedures
• Provide onsite training to new hires and developmental coaching of current accounting staff
• Detailed variance analysis of the property financial reporting packages as well as completeness and accuracy check (Balance Sheet, Profit/Loss Statement, Account Aging, GSS scores/comments, CPOR, Ratio Analysis)
• Monthly P&L analytical analysis and reviews with property level management
• Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts
• Direct reporting to the Executive Committee
• Debt Covenant Reporting
• Financial Statement Consolidations

Pay range: $90,000 - $100,000 a year
