Kampai Japanese Steakhouse is seeking an Experienced Chef for our Sushi Bar and/or Hibachi Kitchen. Full-time or part-time position available. Dinner service only.
Qualifications & Skills
● Passionate about customer service. The ideal candidate is friendly and outgoing, as they will be in direct contact with guests and entertain them as they prepare their food.
● 2+ year of cooking experience
● Experience working in a fast paced & high energy atmosphere
● Able to prepare and cook menu items to our high standard. Follow recipes and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant
● Excellent knife skills
● Clean and maintain stations in practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills
● Must work well in a team environment and demonstrate strong communication. Collaborating with other kitchens and waitstaff is critical to success in this position.
● Knowledge of Japanese cuisine is a bonus
